Mission: To provide a series of methods for our members and our Local to invest in benefits that enhance our growth.
Description: The Benefits & Retirement Investment Committee shall be given a copy of the NBC CAP 401k plan, and the committee will make members working at USH aware that we have a 401k and shall help investigate and assist with member's questions regarding the plan. The committee will check sporadically to ensure that the company is contributing to the plan. The Benefits & Retirement Investment Committee will provide information to union members of any company offers for stock in the company, union plus advantages, and financial union investments that the committee suggests that the membership should look into for the local.

Cat Hutchinson & Tony Figueroa, Co-Chairs
Mission: To listen to our team members across many forums so that everyone in our union membership has an opportunity to respectfully voice their views or initiate action. We will work hard to interpret that feedback so that we can act appropriately for the benefit of each member and/or the entire membership.
Description: A small group of team members looking for ways to clearly and effectively maintain and improve the way Local B-192 sends and receives valuable information to and from the entire union membership so that together we can achieve common goals; such as job protection, improving safety standards, and attaining better wages, working conditions, and benefits, (such as vacation, health care, and retirement).

Sandra Walls Anderson & Angela Sauer, Co-Chairs
Description: The purpose of the Constitution & By-Laws Committee is to establish specific rules for the guidance and governance of the Local.

Jorge Muralles, Chair
Mission: The mission of the Contract Research Committee is to investigate and develop updated contract proposals for upcoming negotiations by analyzing changes in labor laws and benchmarking agreements from comparable unions, including those within Universal Parks & Resorts and the broader theme park industry. The Committee aims to ensure proposals are informed, competitive, and aligned with current standards.
Description: The Contract Research Committee supports effective and informed collective bargaining by investigating, analyzing, and developing contract proposals for upcoming negotiations. The Committee conducts comprehensive research on evolving labor laws, regulatory changes, and industry standards to ensure proposals are current, compliant, and strategically aligned.
In addition, the Committee reviews and benchmarks collective bargaining agreements from comparable unions within Universal Parks & Resorts and other theme park and entertainment industry employers to identify best practices, emerging trends, and competitive standards.
The Committee also engages with team members by conducting surveys to better understand their needs, concerns, and priorities, while gathering ideas for future negotiations. Through data-driven analysis and collaboration, the Committee works to strengthen contract language, address operational needs, promote fairness, and support successful, balanced negotiations.

Robert Rader & David Akins, Co-Chairs
Description: The Dues & Finance Committee shall assist the Executive Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities with respect to reviewing and monitoring spending policy for the local consistent with the Local's long-term goals; and reviewing and monitoring the Local's budget, including dues appropriations and capital spending. The committee shall also make recommendations to the board and membership regarding compensation and benefits for the staff.

Alfonso Gonzales, Chair
Mission: The committee strives to create a supportive, safe, and inviting Union community while working to ensure that our members' employers value and respect inclusion and equity for all the Local's members. By providing access to resources and opportunities, the committee will assist in bolstering members' success and growth free of judgment and discrimination.
Description: The Local B-192 Diversity Committee is committed to fostering and encouraging a diverse and inclusive Union and workplace that welcomes all cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds while allowing for individuality and freedom of expression.

Nicole Miller & Jackie Aaronson, Co-Chairs
Description: The Local B-192 Education & Training Committee aims to inform and educate the Local's membership through various methods, including--but not limited to--presentations, social media, and IATSE and other Union-provided materials and resources. The committee will also focus on member-to-member teaching, learning, and outreach via collective as well as one-on-one interactions.

Mission: The mission of the Good & Welfare is to provide support for our members when a major life event happens. We are here to support you and be with you during this time of need.
Description: The purpose of the Good & Welfare Committee is to benefit members of this Local in time of need.

Richard Garcia & Julie White-McMullens, Co-Chairs
Mission: To promote the health and safety of our Brothers and Sisters of Local B-192 by creating a safe and healthy work environment.
Description: We want everyone, not only committee members, to look for safety problems and health issues. We will follow up on all your concerns.

Jorge Muralles & Julie White-McMullens, Co-Chairs
Mission: The mission of the Local B-192 IT Committee is to keep the union up to date with modern technology by identifying, evaluating, and implementing tools that improve how member data and information are managed. The Committee works to enhance efficiency, security, and accessibility across all union operations.
Description: The IT Committee is responsible for researching and recommending technology solutions that strengthen communication and engagement with union members. It focuses on improving data administration, streamlining internal processes, and adopting platforms that allow the union to better connect, inform, and support its membership.

Jackie Aaronson, Chair
Description: The purpose of this committee to draft and present proposals for our contracts with the Local B-192 office staff. We represent the Union and negotiate with multiple parties. These include the Office Staff (Teamsters Local 911), our Business Agent, our Assistant Business Agent, and others. When both come to an agreement, we present it to the Executive Board and the General Membership for approval.

Sharon Kozen, Chair
Mission: Seek out and partner with Pro-Union companies to create memorable designs, lasting swag, and provide high visible high quality items.
Description: Swag and Merchandise Committee is dedicated to bringing attention to Local B-192, through the use of high quality promotional items made by Pro-Union companies in the United States.

Sean Mason, Chair
Mission: “An end in terror is preferable to terror without end.”- Sophie Scholl
Description: The Worksite Raid Committee should not exist, whereas it's purpose is it's own irrelevancy. The WRC works to advance the solidarity of all members through the universal commitment to uphold human dignity, identifying unjustness and how best to collectively rectify it.

Julie White-McMullens & Leslie Hedlund, Co-Chairs
Mission: The mission of the Young Workers Committee is to introduce a specific age group to the delights of becoming a responsible and active Union member in an atmosphere fostering relationships amongst younger B- 192 Brothers and Sisters.
Description: The Young Workers Committee is dedicated to serving the community and Brotherhood through acts of kindness and selflessness as well as welcoming and empowering younger members of the local.
